You are not who you serve, she tells herself, as her awful works continue anyway.Despite this, or perhaps because of it, Thistle works as a Private Investigator between return trips to Skatay to partake in sancitifed rites. Her work is fun, as are the people she meets- the places she has permission to go to. Loud taverns, rowdy bars and dangerous fighting pits all have the most voices. They all serve to drown out the forboding, creeping dread that infests her dreams once comfort has found her.She will never become a Matron The price is too dear to pay. All she can do is serve and run, and run and serve until her time comes to be pulled towards the inner circle. A great honour? Or a punishment? They are one in the same. Forgive her for not speaking on it, and forgive her her persuasiveness.. the way she speaks with such zealous passion, the tender nature in which she converts you and urges you to give generously to her God. Forgive her for prioritising herself.She is all she has left.Beware the tongue that speaks only truths. You can trust a liar to lie- but honest people will ommit the truth when you least expect it.

Plots and Hooks

  • Is she sniffing around somewhere she isn't wanted? Do you have a lover, enemy or family member you need followed? Did someone steal your purse, or beat your best friend to death? The well known P.I Thistle can help with it all-- and she has quite the reputation for solving the puzzles. And for returning your perpetrator more often dead than alive... unless otherwise and explicitly specified.

  • Though often enjoying a lively atmosphere, Thistle tends to keep herself on the sidelines nowadays. There's a reason for this. Perhaps you knew of/heard of her back when she were part of the 'Thistle and Wisteria' duo? Her 'twin' no longer by her side. Perhaps you are simply observant, and occasionally see a tear well up or her nose wrinkle when someone clearly reminds her of.. someone? Some people? Or are you accutely attuned to grief? Despite her apparent loneliness, Thistle is very approachable. Perhaps you should talk to, or distract her.

  • Thistle is a repetetive 'shusher'. If you've been out within the world and interrupted a conversation that she could hear? Her own or otherwise- she absolutely 'shushed' you with a firm rebuke and and a large scowl.
